Our school ensures students are actively learning in all Key Learning Areas (KLA's) as defined by the Australian Curriculum. These include:

- HASS (History and Social Sciences)

- The Arts
- Language other than English (LOTE) - Japanese delivered through Cairns School of Distance Education, for Year 5 and 6 only
- Health and Physical Education
We are also serviced by itinerant teachers who specialise in instrumental music and general classroom music.
